If you would like an heirloom then this wooden wedding cake knife fits the bill. Made from a walnut blade and an oak handle, the blade is engraved with the newly weds' names (either first names or Mr & Mrs plus surname) and the date of the wedding. The knife is fully functional but also an item to be treasured and there is an optional stand to match it if displayed. The stand is engraved with Mr & Mrs plus surname. Please note we also make Mr & Mr and Mrs & Mrs engraving.
The cake knife would also be suitable for important wedding anniversaries (wood (5th), silver (25th), ruby (40th), gold (50th) or diamond (60th) anniversaries) or any other special occasion like a birthday.
The wood is finished with food safe mineral oil and beeswax and can be looked after by re-oiling with any food safe oil. Hand wash only, do not put in a dishwasher.

Ordering from the website was easy with fast delivery. The knife and stand is lovely and perfect to sit beside the cake for photos and when time to cut the wedding cake. The engraving just finishes the whole look and will be a beautiful keepsake for my daughter and future son in law of their special day.
